At Kinkhab, every piece of cloth is crafted exclusively having its own extraordinary value, hence these cloth pieces need to be handled with care and responsibility; so that the customer can wear it long lastly. The care and wash for each cloth piece may vary from fabric to fabric. Also, since the clothes we produce are all made of historical and authentic Indian fabrics, so natural shrinking or texture shifting may be common. Here are a few things to keep in mind for our clothes :
- Don’t Wash the clothes very frequently, it may reduce its shine and ruin the texture. For stains prefer dry-cleaning or washing it extremely gentle with water or with very little soap. Strictly avoid harsh scrubbing and hard soaps and detergents. While drying if possible then try to avoid direct sun.
- Use a Low-heat setting for Ironing the clothes because the threads of the fabrics are delicate. Try not to directly iron the cloth piece and prefer placing a cotton cloth between the iron and garment. Some clothes that have mirror-work or heavy-embroidery on them may not be ironable.
- Don’t soak the cloth in water or any chemical-based solution for a longer time duration, it may lead to hardening of the cloth and can cause dullness.
- Rather than storing the cloth by folding it prefer to hang it on cloth hanger to prevent any permanent wrinkles.
NOTE : Care for each type of cloth piece may vary from the type of fabric its made up of. We suggest the customer to take care for the clothes in the ways mentioned above to maintain the long term comfort of their clothes. Since, the clothes at Kinkhab are made from authentic Indian fabrics, they require this additional care. After the successful purchase of the cloth from us if the customer fails to prevent the fabric from being damaged, we don’t take any long-term warranty or guarantee of the clothes.
